What's going on:

This is my somewhat daily chronicle of me playing through every zelda game. My reasons for doing this are simply just because, so don't ask why. Upon starting this, I already had some Zelda games but certainly not all of them. I've played through most of the ones I have and I liked them all (except for the old NES ones; those are REALLY hard..). So I got started by taking this strange upside-down tree that shows the chronology of the games (taken from a book called Hyrule Historia, put out by Nintendo a couple years ago; it's supposed to be a supplemental to all things in the Legend of Zelda universe) and I made my plan. I would play through the middle, come back to the fork, play the right side, then play through the left. Or at least that was the original plan but because of timing and the 3DS release of Majora's Mask and the nature of some of the lines, I'm going down the left then the right then down the center. That way, I keep the more serious and darker games for the end. I like the more serious and darker ones. :) I also want to be able to work on this in more places than just wherever I happen to be living at the time so I chose to play mobile versions of these games, wherever possible. That all came to a list that goes like this:

Skyward Sword (Wii)
Minish Cap (GBA)
Four Swords (3DS)
Ocarina of Time (3DS)
A Link to the Past (GBA)
Oracle of Ages (GBC)
Oracle of Seasons, linked (GBC)
Link's Awakening (GB)
A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
Triforce Heroes (3DS)
The Legend of Zelda (GBA)
Adventure of Link (GBA)
Wind Waker (GC)
Phantom Hourglass (DS)
Spirit Tracks (DS)
Majora's Mask (3DS)
Twilight Princess (Wii)
Four Swords Adventure (GC)

This lets me play every one of these games using a combination of just 3 systems: GBA, 3DS, Wii. I specifically plan on not using emulated or Virtual Console versions of the games. While I'm not exactly against using them, I want to keep this as real as possible so I'm using real cartriges and discs. I don't have all of these games so I'll be buying as I go and I will make sure to get them far enough ahead of time so that I won't be waiting on anything. Some of these games are multiplayer (the Four Swords games). When I get to multiplayer games, there is an open invtation for anyone local to join in on the multiplayer games if they do so desire. Just let me know.

While you may be thinking about things like player's manuals and online walkthroughs and thinking this really isn't that bad, I would like you all to know that I'm not going to use any player's guide and I'm going to avoid external helps whenever possible. To help keep it timely, I'm not going to focus on getting every heart piece or every gold skulltula or every single one of whatever. If I happen across a situation that isn't part of the main story, I'll follow that at my own discression but my main focus is going to be on advancing through the game. If you might play a certain game listed here, read cautiously because this whole account is going to be riddled with spoilers!

Still not sure where to put Hyrule Warriors... :/
